Greg Wright - Greg has always been a huge fan of Stratford Sports.  "Ever since I played for the Elks back in the 80's I have had "Elk Fever. The tradition has always been so strong here in Stratford.  It is just a blast to follow these kids each year."  Greg started in radio back in college and then came back to Stratford to farm in 1986.  In 1999, Greg was asked to return to the airwaves with the KDDD Sports team of Russell Gadbois, Mike Quintana, and Charlie Nelson.  "Working with those guys kept you on your toes, I just sat back and watched with amazement the way they worked like a fine oiled machine.  That's what gave me the idea for the Stratford Sports Network!  After the Elks Championship in 2000 I knew the people of Stratford enjoyed the radio broadcast.  Many of them couldn't make it to the games because of weather, sickness, or work.  That's when I came up with this crazy idea."  Greg went to some area businesses and got their financial support and in the fall of 2004, The Stratford Sports Network came to life.  Greg, along with Wayne Smith and Scott Buckles kicked off with the Elks and followed them all the way to State again.  Then in 2005, Walt Berry came onboard as the color commentator as the Elks won their second state championship.  "Walt is a lot of fun, and has a great knowledge of the game.......he is a great friend, and a great asset to have in the booth."

Greg also does weather for KDDD and is part of the News Channel 10 Storm Intercept Team.  He also does voice over work for C&S Cable Advertising, as well as other area advertising agencies.

Walt Berry - Greg approached me in the fall of 2004 about doing the district basketball games with him. My wife said he would love doing it, because it combines two of his passions, sports and talking.

After finishing that season Greg approached me again about doing the football season after Scott and Wayne decided to take some time off. It has been a pleasure doing this with Greg, and I enjoy the opportunity to do it for the community for those who can't make it to the game. I have such great respect for the coaching staff we have in all sports and also for the kids participating.

A special Thanks goes out to XIT Communications and First State Bank of Stratford!
